Argentinian facturas & medialunas
In Argentina and Uruguay, facturas are the sweet pastries that come with morning coffee or mate, usually bought by the dozen. Ours come as a mixed box of eight: custard, membrillo (quince), plain and dulce de leche. Our Argentinian croissants are made with pure butter and honey, plain or filled with custard, quince jam or caramel.

Uruguayan biscochos
Uruguay's favourite bakery run. Our box of eight mixes biscochos de grasa, a cuernito, a galleta dulce, margaritas with dulce de leche and with custard, a vigilante and a croissant salado.
Alfajores & dulce de leche biscuits
Maizena are alfajores de maicena: cornflour and citrus-zest biscuits sandwiched with dulce de leche, rolled in coconut and dusted with icing sugar. Chilenitos, a Chilean favourite, are wafer-thin hand-cut biscuits layered with dulce de leche and coated in meringue.
What is dulce de leche?
Latin cakes
Tres leches is the Latin American celebration cake: sponge layered with custard and caramel, soaked in three kinds of milk and topped with toasted meringue. Miloja (mil hojas, 'a thousand layers') stacks wafer-thin sheets with dulce de leche and walnuts.

Halal beef, chicken & mushroom, cheese, and spinach & ricotta, folded by hand and baked every morning. Full-size for lunch, cocktail size for parties.

What are facturas?

What is an alfajor de maicena?
Two soft cornflour biscuits sandwiched with dulce de leche, rolled in coconut and dusted with icing sugar. We sell them as Maizena, in small and large.

Biscochos are Uruguay's everyday bakery pastries. Our box of eight mixes biscochos de grasa, a cuernito, a galleta dulce, margaritas, a vigilante and a croissant salado.
